BJP MLA’s daughter thrashes youth with shoes:Claims he kept stalking her despite FIR

A video showing the daughter of a BJP MLA assaulting a youth has surfaced from Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The footage, reportedly from Monday, shows her stepping out of a car and hitting the youth with a shoe.
The incident involves Priyanka Pateria, daughter of BJP MLA Brijbihari Pateria from Deori. The video went viral on Tuesday, bringing the matter into public attention. Youth files complaint at police station According to police, the complainant Rajesh Sharma, a resident of Madhi Jamuniya village, said he was at a bank in Gaurjhamar on Monday when someone informed him that Priyanka Pateria was calling him outside. When he approached the car, she allegedly got down and began hitting him with a shoe. The entire episode was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.
A complaint has been lodged at Gaurjhamar police station, though officials have refrained from making any detailed statement so far. ‘He had been following my car for long,’ says MLA’s daughter Priyanka Pateria claimed that Rajesh Sharma had been following her car for a long time and had even tried to cut her off on the road earlier.
She said she had filed an FIR around a year ago, in which Rajesh’s name was mentioned. Despite this, he allegedly continued to follow her vehicle without confronting her directly.
“I called him to ask why he was following my car,” she said.
