Protest at Jabalpur hospital over Ayushman ‘scam’:Morcha alleges ₹50–100 crore fraud; police step in, probe sought

Hundreds of workers from the Bahujan Chetna Vikas Morcha staged a protest on Thursday, at the Sukhsagar Hospital in Jabalpur and alleged a large-scale fraud under the Ayushman scheme. Tilwaraghat police reached the spot after receiving information and attempted to pacify the protesters. Morcha leaders claimed a scam worth ₹50–100 crore has taken place at the hospital, alleging possible collusion between health department officials and the hospital management. Protesters said they had earlier submitted memorandums to the Collector on April 1 and April 6, but no action was taken, prompting the demonstration on April 10. CSP Anjul Ayank Mishra said a memorandum has been received and will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for investigation. Hospital management declined to comment when contacted. Key Allegations
