A theft has taken place at the official bungalow of Madhya Pradesh Urban Administration Minister Vishwas Sarang. Unknown thieves stole trophies, mementos and shields from a store room located within the bungalow premises. The incident occurred on the intervening night of April 2 and 3. It came to light on the morning of April 6. According to TT Nagar police, the lock of the store room was found broken on the morning of April 3. The security guard noticed that the items were missing. TT Nagar Police Investigating Station in-charge Gaurav Dohare said the stolen trophies, mementos and shields had been received by Minister Sarang as honours at various events. Their value is currently being assessed. During the investigation, it was found that there were no CCTV cameras installed in the store room where the theft took place, making it difficult to identify the accused. Dohare said police are examining CCTV footage from nearby roads and houses. The accused will be caught soon.
