Two youths died, and four others were injured in a road accident on the Sarni State Highway in Betul around 11:15 PM on Thursday, after a Bolero jeep lost control and crashed into the wall of Man Mandir Lawn in the Gauthana area. The deceased were Prafull Anil Thoke (25) and Puneet Thackeray (25), residents of Arjun Nagar. The injured include Pappu Prajapati (23), Raju Yadav (26), Abhishek Wadiwa (26), and 14-year-old Sangam Rathore; two are in critical condition and admitted to the district hospital. Prafull, the third of four brothers, worked in POP (Plaster of Paris) and had lost his mother two months ago after a prolonged illness. Puneet, the only son in his family, ran a pet shop; his mother is an Anganwadi assistant, and he has one elder sister.
