A fire broke out at Rajshree Apartment in Khurde Wala Mohalla, Gwalior, at 11 AM on Wednesday. The fire started from a chemical warehouse on the ground floor and reached the first floor. Seeing the fire spread, apartment residents panicked and ran towards the roof. They saved their lives by jumping onto other roofs. Police evacuated families living in the apartment. The fire was brought under control in about an hour with the help of 3 fire brigade water trucks and one chemical foam vehicle. Finally, foam was sprayed on the smoke. No casualties occurred in the incident. According to police, there is a warehouse on the ground floor of the apartment that stores ink and surgical materials. It is being reported that the fire erupted from the surgical materials. As soon as people nearby saw the fire, the police and the fire brigade were immediately informed. Fire trucks arrived at the scene within minutes. Police and SDRF teams quickly evacuated the apartment and removed gas cylinders kept in homes. Ink drums were also removed from the warehouse.
