In a shocking incident at the Bhopal District Court on Tuesday, advocate Anant Sanjar, son of former BJP MP Alok Sanjar, was allegedly assaulted by his brother-in-law, Vidyut Bhatnagar. The accused reportedly threatened him in front of the judge and, during a scuffle, tore the buttons off his shirt. In the clip, Anant Sanjar’s wife and young daughter can be seen visibly terrified inside a room. Loud banging sounds can be heard on the door, with voices shouting from outside. Allegation: Forced entry and Assault at residence Speaking about the incident, Anant Sanjar said his wife was at her parental home when Vidyut Bhatnagar created a disturbance outside. He allegedly banged on the door, issued threats, forcibly entered the house, vandalized property, and assaulted the women inside. However, the accused allegedly reached there as well, continuing his aggressive behavior. Disturbing audio in video clip In the video, Anant’s wife and daughter are seen frightened, while loud knocking is heard from outside the room. Anant claims it was his brother-in-law shouting angrily. The mother and daughter can be heard crying for help. Complaint filed earlier, says victim Anant Sanjar stated that he had already filed a complaint at Kolar police station after the earlier incident. He alleged that his wife, daughter, and the accused’s wife were assaulted at that time as well. He said he has consistently sought legal action and is now demanding strict action again after the latest court incident. Background: Family dispute and Legal battle Anant said that Vidyut Bhatnagar, his brother-in-law, previously operated contracts for railway waiting rooms and onboard catering services but was later blacklisted following complaints. Bhatnagar is also facing a dowry harassment case filed by his wife. Additionally, Anant’s wife (Bhatnagar’s sister) has also lodged a case against him. Court appearance led to fresh clash On Tuesday, Bhatnagar’s wife was called to court for counseling in the dowry case. Anant was representing her legally. During the proceedings, Bhatnagar arrived at the court and began arguing. When Anant escorted her inside the courtroom, the accused allegedly attacked him. Lawyers protest, security tightened Following the incident, a large number of lawyers gathered inside the court premises and demanded strict action against the accused. As tensions escalated, security arrangements in the court were strengthened to prevent further disturbances.
