In a shocking incident amid the ongoing LPG shortage, four gas cylinders were stolen from the residence of a former judge in Bhopal. The theft took place on the night of March 15 in Om Shiv Nagar, located in the Lalghati area. CCTV footage of the incident surfaced on Tuesday. According to the Kohefiza police, a complaint has been lodged by advocate Robin Jain. His father, the late Vimal Kumar Jain, was a former judge. Police officials said that efforts are underway to identify the accused based on CCTV footage, and they are expected to be arrested soon. CCTV captures three accused The CCTV footage shows a motorcycle stopping outside the house late at night with three youths on it. One of them got down and briefly surveyed the premises before signaling the others. After a short while, two of the youths returned on the bike. One of them entered the parking area and removed all four cylinders one by one, placing them on the bike before fleeing the scene. See, two pictures… All cylinders were empty The complainant informed police that four empty LPG cylinders were kept in the parking area around 12:30 am on March 15. The next morning, around 9 am, the cylinders were found missing when he went to take out his car. Upon checking the CCTV footage, the theft was confirmed. Out of the four cylinders, one belonged to Bharat Gas and three to Indane. Though empty, their estimated value is around ₹6,000. The gas connections are registered in the names of Vimal Kumar Jain and Sachin Jain.
