A tragic accident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district on Monday when a driverless parked tipper truck suddenly moved and crushed two college students. One of the girls died on the spot, while the other was seriously injured. The incident happened under the Kotwali police station area. According to information, the deceased student has been identified as Nandini (20). The truck’s tyre passed over her head, causing fatal injuries. The second student, Suman Verma, was critically injured in the accident. Suman suffered severe injuries to her head and jaw. Doctors said her arm and leg bones are also fractured. She is currently undergoing treatment and remains in a serious condition. Driver had parked the tipper on a slope to collect payment According to local people, the driver had parked the tipper on a slope near the fish market and gone to collect payment, but he had not applied the handbrake. Because of this, the tipper started moving on its own. Due to the slope, the tipper’s speed rapidly increased. Tipper plunges into ditch after incident During this, the tipper first hit a car. Due to the collision, the car’s rear window broke and it moved to the side of the road. After this, the tipper’s speed increased further. Students walking on the road ahead were hit by it. After going about 250 meters further, the tipper went into a ditch near a bridge. Chaos on the road after the accident Local people said that after the accident, there was chaos on the road. People present nearby immediately informed the police and ambulance. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Severe head and jaw injuries, student unable to speak The body of the deceased student has been sent for post-mortem, while the injured student has been admitted to the hospital. The condition of the injured Suman is said to be critical. Due to severe head and jaw injuries, she is unable to speak properly.
