In Rewa on Monday, workers of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) attempted to gherao the BJP office. Police stopped them with barricades, leading to pushing and shoving between protesters and security personnel. Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd and bring the situation under control.
