A travel agency operator in Gwalior was brutally attacked by his own cousins. The incident took place around 11 am when the businessman was leaving his house to go to his farmhouse. At that moment, 12 to 15 people entered his house together and attacked him with sticks and rods. The attackers severely beat the businessman. When his wife came to intervene, she was also assaulted. It is alleged that the woman was kicked in the stomach. She had earlier delivered a baby through a C-section surgery, and the assault caused serious abdominal injuries. As soon as the police were informed, the Dial 112 team reached the spot and controlled the situation. It is being reported that the attackers are the businessman’s cousins and a dispute over ancestral property is ongoing. Police have registered a case against the accused and started an investigation. He has an ongoing dispute over ancestral land with his cousins Alok Gurjar, Shatru Gurjar, Mohit Gurjar and Bharat Gurjar. On Sunday morning around 11 am, Arvind was leaving his home to go to his farmhouse located at Blue Lotus, City Centre. As soon as he reached the gate of his house, Alok, Shatru, Bharat and Mohit arrived there with 8 to 10 associates and attacked him. The accused first surrounded Arvind and abused him. When he protested, they began beating him with kicks and punches and later continued assaulting him brutally with sticks and rods. Wife came to save him after hearing noise, she was also beaten Hearing Arvind’s cries, his wife came out to save him. However, the attackers showed no restraint despite her being a woman and kicked her in the stomach. Due to this, the stitches from her earlier surgery were injured. Since the incident, the woman has remained injured and has developed pus in the abdominal wound. Entire incident captured in CCTV Arvind Gurjar said CCTV cameras had been installed in the house for security purposes. The entire assault was recorded in the cameras. He said that even after he was injured and his family members took him inside the house, the attackers continued standing outside and threatening them. According to him, they shouted that he should come downstairs or they would kill him. He claimed that if his family members had not rescued him, the attackers had come with the intention of killing him. Mohini Verma, in charge of Kotwali Police Station, said a case has been registered after the travel agency operator was assaulted. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced and police are searching for the accused.
