In Madhya Pradesh, Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava is the richest among the 391 IAS officers in the state. He owns assets worth ₹19.50 crore, while Chief Secretary Anurag Jain has assets worth ₹4.15 crore. This means Manu Srivastava’s property is about 4.7 times higher than that of Anurag Jain. Apart from this, out of the collectors posted in the state’s 55 districts, 12 collectors neither own a house nor agricultural land. These officers have declared their immovable property as nil. At the same time, there are 17 collectors who own houses and shops along with agricultural land. Kishore Kanyal is the wealthiest among collectors Among district collectors, Guna Collector Kishore Kanyal has the highest assets. He owns property worth about ₹3.18 crore. His assets include two houses, a plot and agricultural land located in Bhopal, Uttar Pradesh and Noida. Vivek Agrawal owns the most land Additional Chief Secretary-level officer Vivek Agrawal, currently on deputation at the Centre, owns the highest amount of land. He has around 65 acres of agricultural land across Bathinda, Ganganagar, Sirsa, Muktsar, Panchkula, Mullanpur, Indore and Bhopal. Apart from this, Indore Additional Collector Navjeevan Pawar has the highest number of properties recorded, with a total of 20 different properties. In 16 years, plot value decreased from 4.5 lakh to 1 lakh Amid all this, the case of Narmadapuram Collector Sonia Meena appears unusual. In 2010, she had purchased a plot for ₹4.5 lakh. Generally, property prices rise over time, but the opposite has happened in this case. The plot that cost ₹4.50 lakh has now reduced to just ₹1 lakh. This means that in about 16 years, the value of the plot has fallen nearly 4.5 times. Tikamgarh Collector Shrotriya’s Property Decreased Tikamgarh Collector Vivek Shrotriya had declared six properties worth ₹6.20 crore in 2024. This year, the value of his declared property has been shown as lower. The total property value is now ₹2.30 crore. Meanwhile, Sheopur Collector Arpit Verma had declared no property last year. This year, he has informed about owning a plot worth ₹79.34 lakh in Lucknow. Similarly, several other officers have also reported fewer properties this year.
