In Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh, a fierce fight broke out between the groom’s and bride’s sides at a wedding. Both sides clashed over stopping the DJ. The groom’s brother and his friends kicked the bride’s uncle in the face and chest. They knocked him to the ground and beat him. The incident has been captured on CCTV camera. The case is from the Girwai police station area. According to information, the injured person’s name is Kamal Kushwah. He is the bride’s uncle. The bride’s uncle sustained internal injuries to his mouth. Based on the complaint, the police have registered an FIR against the groom’s brother and some of his friends. The wedding procession had arrived. The ceremony was proceeding normally, but a dispute arose over playing the DJ even after 12 AM. According to the Collector’s order, playing a DJ after 10 PM is prohibited. Citing this rule, he asked to stop the DJ. This angered the groom’s brother. He started verbally abusing him. When he protested, he was assaulted. Chaos during the assault According to the complaint, when the dispute escalated, some friends of the groom’s brother, who were with him, also arrived there. All of them together dragged Kamal Kushwaha outside. They assaulted him. During this, an atmosphere of chaos ensued at the wedding ceremony. Bride’s uncle slapped by wedding guests The CCTV footage shows that the wedding guests surround the bride’s uncle, Kamal. They abuse him and grab his collar. They push Kamal and take him a short distance away. There, they start slapping and punching him. During this, Kamal falls to the ground. After this, the wedding guests are seen beating him severely. Police are investigating based on CCTV footage In the matter, Girwai police station in-charge Surendra Nath Singh said that upon receiving information about the assault, a police team reached the spot, but by then the accused had fled from there. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against the groom’s brother and his associates and are investigating.
