Ladli Behna conference held in Ghatigaon, Gwalior:₹1,836 crore transferred to accounts of 1.25 crore women; CM Mohan says no LPG shortage

Today, the Ladli Behna Sammelan was organized in Ghatiagaon of Gwalior district, where Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav arrived. He inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The CM also performed Kanyapujan (worship of girls). Here, the CM deposited an instalment of Rs 1836 crore into the accounts of 1.25 crore Ladli Behna beneficiaries. Along with this, he performed the Bhoomipujan (groundbreaking ceremony) and inauguration of 54 development works worth approximately Rs 122 crore. The Chief Minister reached Ghatiagaon by helicopter from Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Terminal Airport. A large number of Ladli Behna beneficiaries arrived at the program venue. It is worth noting that this is the 34th installment of the scheme, which was disbursed today. These include the dedication of 19 works worth approximately 62 crore rupees and the Bhoomipujan of 35 works worth approximately 60 crore rupees. Among the major works to be dedicated are the building of Sandipani Government Higher Secondary School Kulaith, constructed at a cost of about 40 crore rupees, and the high-level bridge built over the Sank River on the Dada Khirak-Tighra road at a cost of 9.11 crore rupees. Additionally, the Sub-Health Center Banheri and newly constructed roads in urban and rural areas will also be dedicated. Among the major works for which the ground-breaking ceremony will be performed are the construction of a 100-seater labor rest house near ISBT at a cost of Rs 6.17 crore, and the construction of a museum based on the life of Baba Saheb in the second phase of Ambedkar Dham at a cost of Rs 12.16 crore. In addition, the construction of various roads in urban and rural areas, the hall and hostel to be built for the Anatomy department in the Ayurvedic college, and a new shopping complex in Bhitarwar at an approximate cost of Rs 4 crore are also proposed.
