In Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, a mob attacked Morwa police station while protesting the murder of a 15-year-old boy. The situation escalated around 7 PM when stone-pelting began, prompting police to fire tear gas and carry out a lathi-charge. Some miscreants in the crowd also hurled petrol bombs at the police station. Following the violence, heavy police deployment was made across the area, with administrative officials monitoring the situation on the ground. Around 10 PM, the mob set a car on fire near the accused’s house. Amid the tension, Singrauli MLA Ramniwas Shah reached the spot to meet the victims.
