A speeding luxury MG car caused havoc late Saturday night in Jabalpur. Starting from Bhanwartal Garden around 11:50 PM, the ‘hit and run’ spree continued till Income Tax Office and Russell Square. During this, the car hit pedestrians, police personnel, and more than half a dozen vehicles. 5 people were seriously injured in the accident. According to eyewitnesses, the car came at very high speed from Bhanwartal Garden and proceeded ahead after running over people standing on the roadside at Russell Square. All the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital where their treatment is ongoing.
