Criminals surrounded and shot at a father-in-law and son-in-law in the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. The bullet pierced through the son-in-law’s thigh, while the father-in-law’s foot was shot through. It is being reported that more than 12 rounds were fired. More than 5 empty shells have been found. The incident took place inthe Kenthri village of Sarai Chola police station area. According to information, the injured have been identified as son-in-law Devendra Gurjar (24) and father-in-law Autar Gurjar (50). Devendra was shot near the thigh, and Autar Gurjar was shot in the foot. Both are in critical condition. They have been referred to Gwalior for treatment. Beat them up and threatened one day before, police took no action According to the victims, on Wednesday, Geetaram, Girraj, Chotu Gurjar, and their associates had surrounded Devendra Gurjar and Bablu Gurjar. They were beaten up near the Jarah village intersection on National Highway-44. They were threatened that if they complained to the police station, they would be shot. After the incident, Devendra Gurjar and Bablu Gurjar reached the Sarai Chhola police station. They filed a report against the accused. Police also registered an FIR under sections of assault, but did not go to arrest the accused. Due to the negligence of the Sarai Chhola police, the accused surrounded them and shot them around 5 pm on Thursday evening. Blood-soaked father-in-law and son-in-law referred to Gwalior According to family members, after the incident, the injured father-in-law and son-in-law were immediately taken to the nearby hospital. The father-in-law and son-in-law were covered in blood. Due to deteriorating condition, they were referred to Gwalior. Both remain in critical condition. Meanwhile, CSP Deepali Chandauria said that a police team has been sent to Gwalior to record statements of the injured. Some cartridges have also been recovered from the scene. The firing occurred due to an earlier fight incident. A team was about to go to catch the accused, but the incident occurred. The search for the accused is ongoing.
