In Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh, a speeding Tavera car filled with wedding guests fell into a dry pond late Thursday night. In the accident, 3 wedding guests died on the spot, while 7 people were injured. The injured were admitted to the district hospital. The incident occurred in the Kotwali police station area. According to information, a wedding party was coming to Dashrath Singh’s place from Gairatganj to Jafarkhedi. There were a total of 10 people in the Tavera car. The vehicle was speeding. Due to darkness, the driver lost control. The car fell directly into a 30-foot deep dry pond from the road. In the accident, 35-year-old Rajesh Lodhi, 30-year-old Sonu Lodhi (driver), and 35-year-old Chandrashekhar lost their lives. Among the injured, Ashok Lodhi (25) has fractured his left hand. Raj Bodhi (14) has suffered serious injuries to his stomach. Brijesh Lodhi (27) and Sudeep Lodhi (20) have sustained chest injuries. 2 in critical condition, one referred to Bhopal 45-year-old Bhavsingh Lodhi and 10-year-old Rituraj Lodhi are said to be in serious condition. Both were referred to Vidisha Medical College after primary treatment. Late at night, one of the injured was referred to Bhopal in critical condition. Local residents said that the incident happened one kilometer away from the wedding house. Villagers reached the spot after hearing the noise. The injured were taken to the district hospital with the help of private vehicles. The injured were covered in blood. Some were bleeding from their foreheads while others from their hands. Collector gathered information from injured at hospital As soon as information about the incident was received, Collector Anshul Gupta reached the district hospital. He inquired about the condition of the injured. He also inspected the incident site. ADM, Tehsildar, CSP, Kotwali and Civil Line police station in-charge along with other officials also reached the hospital. During this time, a team of doctors under the leadership of Civil Surgeon Dr. Anoop Verma started treatment of the injured. Dr. Anoop Verma said that 2 people are in critical condition, who have been referred for better treatment. Meanwhile, other people are being treated at the district hospital. They are out of danger.
