On Wednesday morning, a young man shot a cement trader in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. The bullet pierced the trader’s ribs and lodged in his stomach. The youth has been referred to Gwalior in serious condition. The case is from Station Road police station. According to information, the accused knocked on the trader’s house door in the morning. He called the trader by name. As soon as the trader opened the door, the assailant fired a shot. The injured trader’s name is Krishnakant Shukla, who is a resident of Teacher Colony, Ramnagar. Old enmity sparks firing Deepu Shukla, brother of injured Krishnakant Shukla, says they have an old rivalry with Harendra Shukla, son of Ramniwas Shukla from Sirmati village. Around 5:30 AM, Harendra allegedly fired at Krishnakant with a pistol at their Morena residence. Krishnakant’s wife, Rajni Shukla, says her husband runs a cement business and owns a shop in Sirmati village, commuting daily from Morena. She says she does not know who the shooter was, but can identify him if seen. Police raiding to apprehend accused Station Road Police Station TI Kuldeep Rajput said that Krishnakant Shukla’s condition is serious. Harender Shukla’s name has come forward in the incident. Both the accused and the victim are residents of the same village. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the accused. He will be arrested soon.
