The Indore district administration and the education department have gone into action mode ahead of the Madhya Pradesh Board examinations for Classes 10 and 12. Examination materials are being dispatched at a war footing to 138 examination centres across the district. This year, security has been significantly tightened. Question papers will be stored directly at police stations and will be transported to examination centres only on the day of the exam under strict supervision. Changes in dates for Hindi and other subjects The MP Board has revised the timetable for certain subjects midway through the examination schedule. Students are advised to take note of the following changes: Exam material distribution from Malwa Kanya school The distribution of examination materials is being coordinated from Malwa Kanya School, the designated nodal institution in Indore. The campus has witnessed heightened activity since Thursday. Under the supervision of representatives authorized by the district collector, materials have already been dispatched to 74 rural examination centres, including those in Mhow, Depalpur, and Sanwer. Distribution to the remaining centres is scheduled to be completed on Friday. The transport department has arranged special vehicles for secure transportation. Temporary tents and other necessary arrangements have also been set up at the nodal centre. ‘Third eye’ surveillance at sensitive centres To curb cheating and strengthen security, the administration has deployed technology-driven monitoring this year. Sensitive examination centres will be under CCTV surveillance. Videography and the presence of security guards will be mandatory while question papers are taken out from police stations and delivered to examination centres. Schools directed to inform every student The education department has issued strict instructions to all schools to ensure that the revised timetable is communicated to every student and parent. Teachers have been directed to personally verify that no student misses an examination due to confusion over earlier dates.
