A third-grade student, Ibrahim, died after being hit by a gunshot at his home. His uncle Rehan described the incident with tears while speaking to reporters. Rehan said that Ibrahim’s mother and sister-in-law were sitting on the ground floor and eating food when they suddenly heard a loud sound like a firecracker. When Ibrahim’s sister-in-law went to the first floor, she found Ibrahim lying unconscious near the balcony, covered in blood. After seeing him, she fainted on the spot. Rehan, who was also present in the house, said he came into the room soon after and was shocked to see his nephew lying in blood. At the time of the incident, Ibrahim’s father Rizwan was not at home. He had gone to a dhaba on Parvalia Road to meet friends. With the help of neighbours, Rehan immediately picked up the injured child and took him to Kamla Nehru Hospital. Ibrahim’s mother, who had fainted, regained consciousness and insisted on going to the hospital as well. About one hour later, Ibrahim’s father also reached the hospital. Despite treatment, Ibrahim died on Saturday morning. Rehan said the child was very playful and extremely close to the family. His sudden death has left everyone in deep shock. Ibrahim was buried at a cemetery in the Chhola police station area on Saturday night after Namaz-e-Isha. His parents are in a very bad condition and are crying continuously after losing their son. Police said the investigation is still going on. It is not yet clear whether the gunshot was fired accidentally while the child was playing or if the child shot himself. ACP said – investigation started on the angle of suicide
ACP Rakesh Singh Baghel stated that gun shot marks were found on the children’s temples. Doctors who conducted the post-mortem have currently clarified that the children committed suicide. However, why they did so has not been revealed yet. Family members have also denied scolding or reprimanding the children in any way at home.
It has become clear from the statements of the children’s father, Rizwan, that cleaning work was done at their house on Friday. During this, an illegal pistol, kept in the house and said to belong to Rizwan’s brother-in-law Wahid Noor, came into the children’s hands. He hid it with him without the knowledge of the family members. Late at night, a shot was fired from this pistol, and the child died.
Wahid Noor was also in the news before
According to Gautam Nagar Police, Wahid Noor operated a mobile shop in the DIG Bungalow area. In 2019, Aadesh Khamra, a trucker from Mandideep, was arrested on charges of serial killing. During interrogation, Aadesh confessed to killing more than two dozen truck drivers in different states of the country with the intention of robbery. In one of these incidents, Aadesh confessed to selling iron loaded in a truck to an iron factory in the Nishatpura area through Wahid Noor. Wahid Noor’s name is once again in the news. It is alleged that the pistol whose bullet killed Ibrahim belonged to Wahid Noor. Wahid Noor’s name came up in the father’s statements
Statements of Rizwan, the father of the deceased child, have come to light, in which it is said that the ???? (bullet) was fired from an illegal pistol. The police have recorded the statements of Rizwan Lala, father of the deceased child. Rizwan said that his brother-in-law, Wahid Noor, a resident of Jahangirabad, had stayed at their house in Baksh Colony, JP Nagar, for about a month. During this time, his illegal country-made pistol was left in the house, of which they were unaware. According to the father, cleaning was going on in the house on Friday. During this, the child got hold of the pistol. Late at night, around 1:50 AM, the child was found unconscious and covered in blood on the balcony of the house. At the time of the incident, Rizwan Lala was with friends at a dhaba (roadside eatery) on Parwalia Road. Then his wife called, informing him that the child was injured.
