Ratlam gun shop explosion leaves 3 severely burnt:Locals rush in to save lives; FSL team investigates

Three people were seriously injured in an explosion at a gun shop in Ratlam on Monday. The shop caught fire after the blast. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. The cause of the incident is not yet clear. Upon receiving information, police and FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) teams reached the spot and started investigation. According to information, there is an arms shop named Abdul Qadri in Chandni Chowk of the city. Guns are kept in the shop. Empty cartridges have been found. It is being told that welding work was being done in the shop, due to which a spark fell on the gunpowder. This caused the explosion. The explosion was so powerful that it caused panic in the surrounding area. After the fire broke out, an atmosphere of chaos ensued. Efforts were made to control the fire and carry out relief work with the help of local people and the administration. Police and forensic teams are thoroughly investigating the spot. Efforts are being made to ascertain whether the gunpowder kept in the shop exploded or if there was some other reason for the blast. Currently, the condition of the injured remains serious.
