In Bhopal, a group of miscreants attacked a young man with hammers, crowbars, and sticks, crushing his hands and feet. He was beaten until he lost consciousness, and his car was vandalised before the attackers fled. The incident took place in the Kolar area on Sunday morning at 11 AM. The victim has been identified as Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Chorhata police station area in Rewa. Kuldeep is a monitored history-sheeter. 12 cases are registered against him. He had come to Bhopal on Friday to meet his fiance. During the attack, many people kept making videos, but no one dared to save Kuldeep. In the video, a young woman is seen challenging the attackers. Kuldeep has been admitted to Bansal Hospital. The police are recording statements. Doctors said – condition critical
According to the police, Kuldeep was going somewhere in his car. During this, miscreants blocked his way by placing a car without a number in front of his vehicle and another car behind it. Then they dragged him out of the car. After that, they attacked him. After the miscreants fled, people present at the scene took Kuldeep to Bansal Hospital. According to doctors, his condition remains critical. 12 criminal cases including murder, assault, extortion, rioting, and illegal possession of weapons are registered against Kuldeep Singh in Rewa and Jabalpur. He had recently been released on bail from jail and had come to meet his dentist fiance, who lives in the Netaji Hills area of Kolar. Their engagement is scheduled for February 6. Kolar Police Station in-charge Sanjay Soni said – Looking at the pattern of the incident, it is apprehended that the miscreants had stalked Kuldeep. They had been keeping an eye on his activities beforehand and attacked as soon as they got the opportunity. In the case, Rewa police have been contacted and an investigation has been launched. Footage from CCTV cameras installed around the crime scene is being scrutinized. Soon, the accused will be identified and arrested.
