In Chhindwara, a mother strangled her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter to death. The accused mother stated that the child was constantly bothering her. So, in a fit of rage, she killed her. Police have arrested the accused mother. The incident occurred on January 10 in Parasgaon village, under the Chand police station area. The case came to light on Friday. Police registered a case in this matter on January 13, 2026, and arrested the accused Sangeeta Chauria (35 years). After presenting the accused in court, she was sent to Chhindwara District Jail.
