A tragic road accident in Tikamgarh claimed the life of a seven-year-old girl after a speeding dumper hit a motorcycle head-on. A woman and a man suffered severe leg injuries, while a five-year-old boy was hurt. The dumper driver fled the scene, and police have launched a search. Accident on Jatara Bypass Road The accident took place around 4 pm on Wednesday on Jatara Bypass Road. A dumper coming at high speed collided head-on with a motorcycle. According to Jatara SDOP Abhishek Gautam, the motorcycle was being driven by Kisna Kushwaha (40), a resident of Tanga village under Jatara police station limits. With him were Chameli Bai (30), wife of Dinesh Pal, seven-year-old Kavya Pal, and a five-year-old boy. They were travelling from Lidhaura Tal to Tanga village. Police said the woman was going to her maternal home along with the man and the children. Kisna Kushwaha suffered serious leg injuries. The five-year-old boy sustained minor injuries after being thrown away from the bike due to the impact. Emergency response and hospital referral After receiving information, Jatara police and a 108 ambulance reached the spot. The injured woman and man were first taken to Jatara Hospital. After first aid, both were referred to the district hospital. The body of the child was sent for post-mortem examination. Driver flees, dumper seized After the crash, the dumper driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. Police have seized the dumper and are searching for the absconding driver. Further investigation is underway.
