To enhance the convenience and safety of road travellers in the state, the MP government is going to launch Lokpath App 2.0 on January 10. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will inaugurate it on Saturday at the state-level training programme for engineers of the Public Works Department (PWD). State government launches Lokpath App In the new version, information about essential facilities like petrol pumps, hospitals, police stations and puncture shops available on the route during travel will be accessible on mobile phones. New safety and help features Lokpath App 2.0 will now also provide features for complaining about potholes and bad roads, ambulance and helpline services, and warnings related to black spots. These features aim to reduce accidents and ensure quick help during emergencies. Focus on road safety The government’s objective is to strengthen road safety, improve road maintenance and encourage citizen participation through digital platforms. PWD engineers training programmeIn the same programme, the Chief Minister will also launch a Capacity Building Framework for skill development of PWD engineers, focusing on innovation, digital initiatives and capacity building. According to PWD Minister Rakesh Singh, around 1500 engineers from across the state have reached Bhopal for this training programme.
