Kishan Singh scalped four wickets as India U-19 bowled out South Africa U-19 for just 245 runs in the 2nd Youth ODI of the series, at the Willowmoore Park in Benoni on 5 January. RS Ambrish took two wickets while Deepesh Devendran, Kanishk Chouhan and Khilan Patel took one apiece. India need 246 runs to win the match and series. For South Africa, Jason Rowles scored a century (114 off 113 balls), which included seven fours and three sixes. Apart from him, no other batter from South Africa U-19 could score even a half-century, with the next best score being 31 from Daniel Bosman. South Africa had poor batting effort The South African team, who came out to bat after winning the toss, had a poor start. The team had lost the wickets of its openers within the powerplay. Openers Adnaan Lagadien (25) and Jorich Van Schalkwyk (10) were dismissed within the first 10 overs by Kishan Singh. South Africa, at one point, were reduced to 96/4 before a 93-run partnership between Rowles and Daniel Bosman revived the innings. South Africa captain Muhammed Bulbulia scored just 14 runs off as many balls before he Kishan got him out as well. Kishan also accounted for Rowles for 114. He scored 114 runs off 113 balls. Apart from him, Daniel Bosman contributed 31 runs. India have 1-0 lead in three-match series India defeated South Africa by 25 runs in the first match of the Youth ODI series. With this victory in the rain-affected match at Willowmoore Park Stadium in Benoni, India took a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series.
