In the accident, three youths riding the bike died on the spot. The three youths were returning to their village Jamuna after doing labor work in Rewa. The deceased have been identified as Ankit Sondhiya (28), Deepak Kol (26) and Nagendra Kol (25). The deceased have been identified as Lakhan son of Bapulal Saundhiya (35), resident of village Salehpur and Bherusingh son of Gangaram Saundhiya (50), resident of village Khanota. According to information, both were returning to their village from Byavara on Wednesday night. After the accident, seriously injured Bherusingh was immediately taken to the hospital with the help of local people, but doctors declared him dead during treatment. After the incident, the driver fled from the spot leaving the tanker behind. Police reached the spot and took the tanker into custody. In Chhindwara on Thursday morning around 8:15 AM, Sheelu Maheshwari (55), a resident of Gandhiganj, was passing through Narsinghpur Naka Road on a bike with her husband Atul Maheshwari. The bike lost balance due to concrete on the road and skidded. At that moment, a truck coming from behind crushed the woman. She died on the spot. Local residents allege that they had complained to the municipal corporation several times about concrete scattered on the road, but no one paid attention. The woman had to pay for this negligence with her life. People have demanded to file a case against negligent officials and provide compensation to the victim’s family. Meanwhile, police have sent the body for post-mortem and started investigation.
