On Friday afternoon, Girraj was sitting outside his house when a dumper carrying gravel arrived nearby for construction work at a neighboring house. According to eyewitnesses, the dumper’s tire got stuck in a pit dug for a pipeline, causing the vehicle to lose balance and overturn. Before the elderly man could get up and move away, the gravel spilled suddenly, burying him under the load. He died on the spot.
