Yashasvi Jaiswal was discharged from the Aditya Birla hospital in Pune on 18 December. Two days ago, the Indian cricketer had to be rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe stomach pain during Mumbai’s match against Rajasthan in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025. He was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis at the hospital and given medications after undergoing an ultrasound and a CT scan. Jaiswal has been advised complete rest by the doctors for 8-10 days. Jaiswal, who featured in the ODIs against South Africa, was not picked for the five-match T20I series. India have a 2-1 lead and the fifth and final match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on 19 December.
