The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Indore, conducted the Food Safety Officer Examination 2025 on Sunday across the state. The examination was held for around 42 thousand candidates. Exam centres were set up in four cities—Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur. In total, 111 examination centres were operational across Madhya Pradesh. In Indore, scenes of urgency were seen as several candidates rushed to reach centres till the last moment. To manage the large number of candidates, arrangements were made at all centres. In Indore alone, arrangements were made for 17 thousand 72 candidates. One of the exam centres was Bal Vinay Mandir School in the Chhatribagh area. Many candidates reached the centre well before the reporting time, while some others arrived in a hurry just minutes before gate closure. The entry gates were closed at around 11:45 am. After the gate was shut, no candidate arrived. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has given full responsibility of conducting the Food Safety Officer Examination 2025 to Divisional Commissioner Dr Sudam Khade, who has been appointed as the Examination Coordinator Officer. Exam in four cities of the state Entry to the center from 11:15 AM onwards Joint Commissioner D.S. Ranada has been appointed as the Co-in-charge Examination Officer and Prof. D.K. Gupta as the Nodal Officer. Candidates were given entry to the center from 11:15 AM onwards. No candidate was allowed entry into the exam center after 11:45 AM. Candidates will be allowed to carry their e-admit card, valid identity card, a pen with specified ink for marking circles, and a transparent water bottle. Disabled candidates will be given one hour of extra time if they opt for a scribe. Some posters were also put up inside the exam center at Bal Vinay Mandir School. Important instructions related to the examination for candidates were written on them. Along with this, information about what can and cannot be taken into the exam hall was also written here. Additionally, a teacher from the school was continuously making announcements about this through a microphone. Black pens were also arranged Some candidates who arrived here forgot to bring black pens. They had brought blue pens, and consequently, they were asked to keep the blue pens outside. After their documents were checked, they also underwent a physical check. Face masks, belts, and artificial bracelets were also asked to be removed. Candidates who did not have black pens were provided with them by the school authorities, so that they wouldn’t be late for the exam. Items Prohibited Inside the Exam Center Inside the exam center, pencils, erasers, whitener, scales, bags, and study material are prohibited. Mobile phones, pen drives, calculators, Bluetooth devices, hands-free devices, digital watches, smartwatches, analog watches, any electronic device, or any other device used as a communication device will be prohibited. Also, hair clips/buckles, hand bands/metallic bands/leather bands worn on the hand, belts worn on the waist, cufflinks, sunglasses, purse/wallet, cap/hat. Keys, lighters/matchboxes, any kind of weapons, sharpener blades, and any other valuable items will be prohibited. Examinees will be prohibited from entering the examination room wearing shoes and socks.
