In Sehore district, a speeding Thar driven by a woman sub-inspector hit four people on Friday evening, killing one and leaving three seriously injured. On Saturday morning, a video of the incident surfaced showing the SI saying, ‘Let me go, mom and dad are waiting.’ The accident took place near the Bilkisganj intersection on the Indore–Bhopal Highway, where the Thar first hit blanket vendors sitting by the roadside and then rammed two motorcyclists. CSP Dr. Abhinandana Sharma said, An FIR has been registered against Sub-Inspector Kiran Rajput, who was driving the Thar vehicle, as negligence was clear in the incident. Considering the incident as serious negligence and misconduct, Sehore Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Shukla immediately suspended Kiran Singh Rajput and attached her to the Reserve Center Sehore. The preliminary investigation of the case has been handed over to the City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Sehore.
