Rapido driver rapes 18-year-old Bhopal student:Female assualted in her home; accused’s girlfriend later beat her

An 18-year-old engineering student has filed a rape complaint against a Rapido driver at Bhopal’s Kolar police station.
According to the complainant, she first met the accused during a Rapido ride. In October, he came to her house, finding her alone, and assaulted her. The accused’s girlfriend, who travelled from Indore to Bhopal, also assaulted her. Police have launched a search for the accused. Survivor had come to Bhopal for studies According to Sub-Inspector Pappu Katiyar, the survivor is originally from Seoni district and currently lives in Bhopal for her engineering studies.
The accused, Tarun Lokhade, is also from Seoni and works as a Rapido driver in Bhopal. On October 24, when the student was alone at home, Tarun allegedly went to her residence and raped her. Repeated assault after threats After the first incident, the accused allegedly threatened to defame her and continued to sexually assault her multiple times. Meanwhile, Tarun’s girlfriend, Divya, along with her friend Rani, came from Indore to Bhopal. Suspecting an affair, they went to the survivor’s house and assaulted her as well. Following the assault, the student approached the police station and submitted a written complaint. After investigation, a case has been registered, and the police are now searching for the accused.
