In Shiksha Nagar, Banmor town of Morena, a 55-year-old woman was killed on Thursday afternoon by her brother-in-law. Police have arrested the accused. The two had a previous love affair. A dispute over loan repayment led the accused to attack her. He first stuffed a cloth into her mouth and then strangled her to death. After the incident, the accused fled from the house. In the evening, when the deceased’s husband returned from duty, he saw the blood-stained body. The police have arrested the accused Mannalal Gaud, resident of Shahadpur Sumawali, currently residing in Ashram Wali Gali, Phoolpur, Banmor. A wooden washing paddle (mogri) used in the murder has also been recovered from him. Banmor TI Deependra Yadav said There was a love affair between the woman and the accused, but no one knew about it. The deceased woman was demanding money from the accused as she had to pay off her home loan. When the accused refused to give the money, the woman started threatening him. A fight broke out between them, and the accused murdered the woman. The accused Mannalal has been arrested.

At this, Mannulal punched Malti in the face. When she started screaming, he stuffed a cloth into her mouth and hit her multiple times with a washing paddle (wooden stick), which led to her death.
