Dispute over repaying a loan of 8 lakhs Deceased Malti Gaud (55), wife of Murari Gaud, residing in Shiksha Nagar, Banmour police station area, had a love affair with her brother-in-law Mannalal Gaud. She had taken a house loan of 8 lakh rupees from a private bank to build the second floor of her house. Malti wanted the accused lover Mannulal Gaud to help her and her family repay that house loan. But lover Mannulal Gaud had clearly refused to repay the loan. Argument and assault on the day of the incident: The deceased and her lover Mannulal Gaud met at the deceased Malti’s house on December 10 at 3 PM. When Malti again demanded money from Mannulal, an argument broke out between them. Malti told Munna Lal that he had exploited Malti, and she would tell everyone about it. At this, Mannulal punched Malti in the face. When she started screaming, he stuffed a cloth into her mouth and hit her multiple times with a washing paddle (wooden stick), which led to her death. To ensure she was dead, the accused also strangled her with a cloth. Husband works in a rebar factory The woman’s husband works at Ambar Shakti Rebar Factory. When he returned from duty around 7 PM, he saw the door latched from the outside and thought his wife might be in the neighborhood. As soon as he entered the house, he saw his wife lying dead on the floor, with a cloth stuffed in her mouth. After this, he informed the police. Tenants were also unaware The woman and her husband have seven children, four of whom are married. The eldest son, Rajneesh, is with his wife in Bhind Malanpur. The house is two-storey. The family lives on the ground floor, while tenants are on the second floor. At the time of the murder, the tenants were completely unaware.
