Bhopal head constable beats man over ₹250:Kicks scooter service center employee to ground while 4 other policemen watch

In Bhopal on Saturday evening, a Head Constable severely beat an employee outside a scooter service center, knocking him to the ground and kicking him, while five other policemen watched without intervening. A video of the incident has surfaced. The constable demanded immediate repair of his scooter, worth only Rs 250, and insisted the work be done through insurance without paying. Policeman assaults employee over scooter repair Sachin Kumar Kushwaha, a Service Advisor in Narayan Nagar, said a uniformed policeman, Ram Avtar Dhakad of Bairagarh police station, arrived around 4:15 PM demanding immediate replacement of his scooter’s brake lever. When asked to pay Rs 250, the policeman refused and insisted on using insurance. Sachin agreed but explained the vehicle would need to be left for about a week for the claim process. After hearing the process, the policeman got enraged. He started abusing. Sachin protested this, and the policeman assaulted him. His colleague Jeevan, who came to his rescue, was also beaten. He called other policemen. When the employees protested, Dhakad threw Sachin to the ground outside the showroom and beat him. Threatened to kill young man
After the entire incident, policeman Dhakad threatened Sachin not to complain, and also threatened to kill him if he did. The showroom employees had also called 112 for help, but the police who arrived at the scene did not try to stop Dhakad. Other policemen are also seen standing in the video. However, Bagsewania police have currently denied any knowledge of the incident.
