Police have finally solved the mystery of the veterinary doctor who went missing from Indore. After the doctor regained consciousness, he told the police that he had been kidnapped and robbed. Based on his statement, an FIR has been registered. The main accused, Aman from Mohali in Punjab, has been arrested with the help of the Vadodara Crime Branch. Police said the accused contacted the doctor through a travel app, mixed drugs in a cold drink, made him unconscious, and then withdrew about ₹3 lakh from his ATM and credit cards before escaping. Doctor found in Gujarat on November 5 According to TI Taresh Soni, on November 5, veterinary doctor Hari Singh Raghuvanshi (50), a resident of Indore, was found in a suspicious condition in Anand city, Gujarat. He lives in a flat provided by the company and occasionally travels to Indore on weekends. Young man took a lift from the doctor from Indore The doctor said that he uses an app for travel. On the night of November 3, he updated his plan to go from Indore to Vadodara on the app, after which a young man named “Aman” messaged and called him. He said that he was also going to Gujarat and wanted to travel together. Aman introduced himself as an employee of an Ayurvedic company and said that he was returning after a meeting in Indore. The doctor called him to meet at Vijaynagar Circle, from where they both departed at 5 AM on November 5. Wore a mask throughout the journey, made a friend speak in Punjabi According to the doctor, the accused wore a monkey cap and face mask throughout the journey. For verification, the doctor also made Aman speak on the phone with his friend residing in Punjab. Both conversed in Punjabi, which reassured the doctor. Drugs Mixed in Cold Drink on Godhra Bypass Near the Godhra bypass, the accused took out two cold drink bottles from his bag. He drank one himself and offered the other to the doctor. Initially, the doctor refused, but Aman said “It’s strawberry flavor, you’ll like it.” After a few sips, the doctor noticed a strange taste and soon felt dizzy. Then Aman offered to drive the car. A short while later, the doctor became unconscious. When He Regained Consciousness, the Car Was Being Towed by a Municipal Vehicle Many hours later, when the doctor regained consciousness, he found his car being towed by the municipal team. His family members had also arrived at the scene. Upon checking, it was found that the accused had withdrawn 2 lakh rupees from his debit card and 1 lakh rupees from his credit card. Vadodara Crime Branch arrested the accused Based on mobile location, ATM footage, and app data, Vadodara Crime Branch arrested Aman. He will now be brought to Lasudia Police Station, Indore, on a production warrant. According to Additional DCP Crime Rajesh Dandotiya, the accused had planned the entire scheme in advance and fled after intoxicating and robbing the victim on the way.
