Raj Shekhawat, National President of Kshatriya Karni Sena, has strongly criticised the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He said Lawrence is not a religious warrior, but an organised criminal who harms India. Operating from abroad, Lawrence is involved in drugs, extortion, and attacks on influential people. Shekhawat added that these actions are akin to terrorism. Questions govt silence on terrorist declaration Shekhawat questioned why the Indian government has not declared Lawrence’s gang a terrorist organisation, despite it being labelled so abroad. He highlighted that business communities are terrified and being extorted. This fear weakens the economy, while government inaction is incomprehensible. Murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi impacts society Shekhawat said the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi is not just a personal loss but affects society as a whole. He expressed sadness that such criminals operate in India. The killing of his leader, he said, is felt by the entire community. Cash reward announced for Lawrence Bishnoi Raj Shekhawat had announced a cash reward of Rs 1.11 crore to any police officer who successfully encounters Lawrence Bishnoi. This announcement was made via a video released from Gujarat. Only criminal-minded youth follow Lawrence Addressing youth influenced by Lawrence on social media, Shekhawat said they are limited and already have criminal tendencies. Genuine youth still admire Bhagat Singh, Maharana Pratap, and Shivaji. Those who idolise street criminals do not represent the mainstream youth of India. Patriot Muslims are brothers, traitors have no place Shekhawat clarified that any Muslim who loves India is his brother. But traitors who commit terrorism, bomb blasts, or harm the nation have no place. National loyalty, not religion or caste, defines a true citizen. Security personnel, regardless of religion, must be allowed to attend religious events, but terrorists must face strict action – a bullet, he stated, is the ultimate answer for traitors. Anger directed at the govt, not any party Shekhawat said his anger is with the system in power, not a specific political party. Currently, BJP is in power, so he directs his demands at them. Justice cannot be expected from the opposition. A memorandum has been submitted to the Chief Minister, and Shekhawat expects a solution. Demand for Gaumata as Rashtramata Shekhawat reiterated the demand to give Gaumata (cow) the status of ‘Rashtramata’ (Mother of the Nation). He noted that BJP promised this on a Hindu agenda but has not yet acted. Some states, like Maharashtra and Uttarakhand, have granted ‘Rajya Mata’ status. He expects Madhya Pradesh to follow and make the path to national recognition easier. Religious conversion not a personal matter Reacting to Minister Vijay Shah’s statement on religious conversion, Shekhawat said ignoring conversion issues attacks cultural roots. Misrepresentation by new religious sects confuses Sanatanis. Karni Sena will respond in its traditional way if religious existence is threatened. Criticism of Agniveer Scheme Shekhawat criticised the Agniveer scheme. He said four years of service without pension mocks youth’s future. Soldiers need stability to serve with dedication. He called for training centres in every district and the abolition of Agniveer in favour of normal recruitment. Condemnation of Harda Incident Shekhawat strongly criticised the Harda incident. He said it was a planned conspiracy against Karni Sena morale. Unarmed office bearers were beaten, girls attacked in hostels, and properties destroyed – actions against democratic values.
