Akhara village in Dhar district has become a political arena these days. The matter concerns the inauguration of a single 5 MGA power grid, which was inaugurated twice in four days. On November 6, local MLA Umang Singhar cut its ribbon, and then on November 9, Sunday, Minister-in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya came and put an official seal on it. It is worth noting that this grid will solve the electricity problem of 23 villages in Bagh block. Leader of Opposition said – The process was completed during the Congress government’s tenure Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar had said that the approval-related actions for the power grid had been completed during the Congress government’s tenure. After his continuous efforts during the BJP government and issues raised in the assembly, an amount of Rs 1.45 crore was sanctioned for this grid in the year 2022. He said that obstacles at the construction site were resolved, which made the construction of the grid possible. A new plaque to be unveiled was installed As per the scheduled program, the minister in charge, Vijayvargiya, arrived at Akhara village on Sunday afternoon. This was an official program of the company. The electricity distribution company’s personnel also removed the previously installed decorated stone plaque. A new plaque, to be unveiled by Vijayvargiya, was installed. Vijayvargiya said – Power grid under Central Government scheme Minister in charge Kailash Vijayvargiya duly worshipped the panels and transformers. He cut the ribbon and unveiled the new plaque. The minister said that this grid was approved under the Central Government’s RDSS scheme. Under this, Rs 124 crore was sanctioned for electricity supply to every home and every farm in the remote rural areas of Dhar district. He said that if someone unauthorizedly inaugurates and leaves, will that be considered an inauguration? He said that if this grid was approved during the Congress government, then Congress should provide proof. He said that Congress did nothing during its tenure. Now they are beating drums about it, claiming it as a gift from their government. Now, the under-construction power grids in Gram Jogardi and Keshvi will also be inaugurated, which will ensure smooth power supply to fields and homes in 40 more villages. These leaders were present at the event District Panchayat President Sardar Meda, former MP Gajendra Singh Rajukhedi, former MLA Mukam Singh Nigwal, BJP Mandal President Suresh Sisodia, ST Morcha District President Mahendra Merti, and Superintending Engineer of Electricity Company Ashish Acharya were present on the stage.
