Northern winds trigger cold spell across MP:Mercury drops to 9°C in Rajgarh; Indore records 5th coldest night in 10 years

The cold wave from snowfall in northern hilly states is now being felt in Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday night, most cities saw a sharp drop in temperature. Rajgarh recorded the coldest night at 9°C after a 2-degree fall in a single night. Indore experienced its lowest November temperature in 10 years at 10.3°C. Across the state, mercury levels fell below 10°C in just two days, bringing early winter chill to residents. Night temperatures fall sharply The Meteorological Department reported record lows across many cities on Thursday night. Other cities also felt the cold: Senior meteorologist Dr Divya E. Surendran said northern winds will further increase the cold. No rain is expected for the next five days. Daytime temperatures also fall The cold is not only at night.
