The Madhya Pradesh government will launch statewide programs to commemorate the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’, composed by Indian novelist and poet Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, from November 7 to November 26, coinciding with Constitution Day celebrations. Major celebrations are planned across the state, with large-scale events organized by both the state government and the BJP. Statewide programs planned The celebrations will begin on November 7 and continue until November 26, coinciding with nationwide events and local programs in schools and educational institutions. Government officials will also host events at various locations across the state. BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal stated that the central party leadership has directed that each program should have at least 150 participants, marking 150 years of the song. Key events and participation The first main event will be held on November 7, with ten programs planned across different locations.
