Adani Group’s flagship company, Adani Enterprises Limited, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹3,199 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2025-26. This is an 84% increase on an annual basis. In the same quarter last year, the company had a profit of ₹1,741 crore. The profit boost comes mainly from the sale of Adani Enterprises’ stake in its grocery business, Adani Wilmar, which earned the company a one-time gain of ₹3,583 crore. This one-time profit is included in the second quarter’s total earnings. Adani Enterprises’ revenue falls 6% to ₹21,249 crore In the July–September quarter, Adani Enterprises’ consolidated revenue from operations dropped by 6% to ₹21,249 crore. In the same quarter last year, it was ₹22,608 crore. During the second quarter, the company earned a total of ₹21,844 crore, marking a 5.82% increase on an annual basis. For comparison, in the July–September quarter last year, revenue was ₹23,196 crore. Company to raise ₹25,000 crore through rights issue The Board of Directors has announced plans to raise ₹25,000 crore via a rights issue. These will be partially paid-up equity shares with a face value of Re 1 per share. Only eligible shareholders will be able to participate, and the record date will be announced later. Understanding consolidated profit Adani Enterprises reports results in two formats: Standalone and Consolidated. Standalone results reflect the performance of a single unit, while Consolidated results provide the overall performance of the entire company group. Adani Enterprises’ share performance Ahead of its quarterly results, Adani Enterprises’ share closed at ₹2,399, up 2.72% for the day. However, the stock has fallen 7% in the past month, 2% over six months, and 17% over one year. The company’s market capitalisation is ₹2.79 lakh crore.
