It was the last year for admission, so after researching, she decided to pursue a physiotherapy course. Even after taking admission in the course, Akanksha was a bit disappointed because her dream of becoming a doctor remained unfulfilled. At that time, I motivated her by saying, ‘There is also a physiotherapist with the Indian team in BCCI and you have to reach there.’ Today, Akanksha has fulfilled that dream with her hard work and dedication. Abhinav further said that we had always heard the struggle stories of players but when we saw our sister with Team India, the whole family became emotional. In 2019, Akanksha started her career as a physiotherapist with the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Team (CSCS). Due to her hard work and dedication, she was called to the National Cricket Academy, where she got the opportunity to handle the senior team. She worked as an Assistant Physio Expert. After this, Akanksha also worked with India’s main team. In 2023, when India won the Under-19 Women’s Cricket World Cup title, Akanksha was also the team’s physio expert. Has given training to Taapsee Pannu Akanksha has also worked with actress Taapsee Pannu. In 2022, Akanksha took on the responsibility of an off-screen physio expert in Taapsee Pannu’s film ‘Shabaash Mithu’.
