Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 300 crore online into the accounts of more than 52 lakh students under the Samekit Chhatravriti Yojana on Thursday. Addressing the event held at the Samata Sabhagar in the CM’s residence, he said the government’s objective is to ensure that students receive all essential facilities on time so they can focus on their studies. Dr. Yadav said that earlier, scholarships were distributed in April, but this time, the amount is being credited as early as October. He also mentioned that funds for bicycles, uniforms, and scooters have already been released on time. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, and other senior officials were present on the occasion. Scholarships credited early for the first time in October CM noted that scholarships were usually disbursed in April or May, but this year, to benefit students, the amount was transferred in October itself. He stressed that receiving the scholarship at the beginning of the academic session allows students to buy books, uniforms, and other essentials on time. “Our goal is to ensure that every student receives every facility without delay,” he said. Dr. Yadav added that getting the approval for this amount from the finance department was not easy. “People often think that sanctioning or releasing funds is a simple process, but in reality, it involves several steps. Despite that, keeping students’ needs in priority, we made sure the funds were made available on time,” he explained. Government pays fees for private school students too CM Yadav also highlighted that the state government had also paid the school fees for 8.5 lakh students studying in private institutions recently. “Today, we have extended scholarships to 52 lakh students in government schools. Whether it’s a government or private institution, we are committed to supporting every child’s education,” he said. ‘No budget constraints for children’s education’ Dr. Yadav assured that the government has ample funds for children’s education and welfare. “For us, this is not just a government scheme but an investment in the future. We will ensure that no child’s education suffers due to financial reasons,” he stated. He added that the real success of government schemes will be reflected when children’s faces show confidence and enthusiasm to move forward in life.
