Three men from Jabalpur were killed in a severe road accident on Wednesday evening on the Nagpur–Jabalpur National Highway. The victims were identified as hotel owner Kapil Sahni, Amit Agrawal, and Sandeep Soni. The crash took place near Deolapar in Nagpur, Maharashtra, when they were returning home to Jabalpur. Accident near Deolapar According to the police, the three men were travelling by car after completing some work in Nagpur. As their vehicle approached Deolapar, a bike rider from the opposite direction lost control and veered onto their lane. To avoid hitting the biker, the car driver swerved sharply to the other side of the road. In doing so, the car collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction. Impact was severe The impact was extremely strong, completely crushing the front part of the car. Local residents gathered at the scene after hearing the crash. Police from the nearby station reached the spot immediately. They said that all three men died on the spot, before they could be taken to hospital. Police investigation and aftermath The Maharashtra Police informed the Madhya Pradesh Police and the families of the victims in Jabalpur. After the accident, traffic on the highway was blocked for some time but was later restored by police. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and an investigation is underway.
