School van crushes over 20 vehicles in Chhatarpur:Woman and child injured; angry locals beat the driver before handing him over to police

In Chhatarpur, a drunk driver driving a school van crushed two cars and around 20 motorcycles late Tuesday night. He also hit a woman on a scooter and her daughter, leaving both injured. Angry locals beat the driver before handing him over to the police. The incident took place near Chhatarpur District Hospital. Kotwali police have taken the accused, Ikram, into custody and started an investigation. Arvind Singh, a guard at the hospital, said Ikram recklessly drove school van number MP16 T 2066 and damaged several vehicles. When Singh tried to stop him, Ikram attempted to run over him, but the guard jumped aside and escaped. After hitting the vehicles, the van stopped near the hospital gate.
