Users of India’s second largest telecom, Bharti Airtel, have faced network problems continuously in the last 24 hours in India. Users are not able to make phone calls, use mobile internet properly and many faced no signals. Many users took to social media platforms to express their anguish over the problems in connectivity. One netizen wrote, “What is wrong with your network? I’m several metres from the booster but I can’t even send a goddamn tweet.” The online service status information sharing platform, Downdetector website showed continuous rise in reports submitted by citizens on its portal regarding connectivity issues since 5 am on Saturday, 11 October, 2025. The portal showed submission of problems in the last 24 hours. Albeit, there was reduction from 11 pm on Friday to 5 am on Saturday. Out of total reports submitted with Downdetector by the users, 58% of them said they faced problems in using mobile internet. While, 31% of them said they faced the problem of no signal. And, 11% said they faced issues in using mobile phones. Since the disruption of internet cables in the Red Sea, citizens in India have faced slower net connections. These users are of all telecoms and not just Airtel!
