In Gwalior on Friday, Congress MLA Dr. Satish Sikarwar got angry during a review meeting of the city’s development works after being stopped by the Tehsildar at the VIP gate. He began returning home, but Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia noticed him and personally brought him back to the Collectorate auditorium to attend the meeting. Why Congress MLA got upset? Regarding this matter, Congress MLA Dr. Satish Singh Sikarwar said – Separate gates have been made for BJP MLAs and Congress MLAs under BJP rule. This is not right. Key leaders absent from Gwalior meeting Discussion on 11 major development schemes After the review meeting, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, This meeting was very fruitful. All ongoing development works in the city were discussed in it. We had an open discussion on roads. There are 234 roads on which work needs to be done. In addition, fruitful discussions also took place on the Elevated Road, Railway Station, and the project to bring water from Chambal. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia told officials that the projects are crucial for Gwalior’s traffic management and city aesthetics, and any delay will not be tolerated. He noted that 50% of the work is complete. Scindia emphasised that everyone must meet the expectations of Gwalior’s people and said plans will be made with local traders for heavy-vehicle routes to reduce road congestion.
