After the police were alerted about the incident, they rushed to the scene, registered a case and began investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. No suicide note was recovered from the scene, according to the police. Was concerned over mother’s mental woes Investigating officer in the case, SS Verma said that initial investigation revealed that Sahu had been struggling with depression due to her mother’s illness. Her mother had been suffering from a mental health disorder for several months, and the family was seeking treatment.
