Three youths bathing at Narmada Ghat in Budhni, Sehore district, drowned in deep water on September 28 morning. Locals managed to rescue one youth, but two are still missing. Meanwhile, police and divers have launched a search operation for the missing youths. Notably, all three pf them were on their way to Salkanpur Devi Dham to seek their mother’s darshan and had stopped at the ghat for a bath when the tragedy occurred. Youths are residents of Dewanganj
Upon receiving information about the accident, police and diving teams reached the spot and immediately started rescue operation. Despite continuous rain, the search for missing youths is ongoing. According to police, the missing youths have been identified as Nilesh Sahu (age 25 years) and Yogesh Sahu, who are residents of Dewanganj, district Raisen. Budhni Station In-charge Chain Singh Raghuvanshi said that search for Nilesh and Yogesh is ongoing. SDERF team has also been informed about the incident and rescue operations are continuously being conducted with local support. All three youths were going from Dewanganj to Salkanpur for darshan of Maa Vijasan Devi on bike when this accident occurred.
