Punjab floods: CM Bhagwant Mann calls relief meeting from hospital; cabinet approves Rs 20k/acre relief

Punjab government approved a flood relief package. The package includes compensation for crop damage. Landowners can now extract and sell sand from their fields. The government will provide ex gratia for loss of life. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the decisions. The government will also help with loan repayments. Damaged infrastructure will be restored.
