FASTag Annual Pass: Expressways & highways where fees still apply

The National Highways Authority of India introduced the FASTag annual pass on August 15, enabling private vehicles to use national highways and expressways for a fixed fee of ₹3,000 for the base year 2025-26. Valid for a year or 200 trips, it excludes several major expressways. The pass is non-transferable, requires proper FASTag affixation, and Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) linkage.
